Ross was born and raised a 4th generation central Montana cattle rancher, where he grew up taking care of livestock and the land. That was always his first priority. In 2016, he was awarded the Cooperator of the Year award by the local Conservation District for the practices implemented on his ranch to better the land, livestock, and wildlife. Ross grew up outdoors, either ranching, hunting, fishing, or packing horses and guiding hunters in the fall. He loves every aspect of the outdoors and shares that passion with his family. His wife Tierany, son Bud, and two daughters Maysa and Josie are equally as passionate and will continue his Montana legacy. He is excited to use his knowledge and passion for Montana to help others continue their legacy in agriculture or help you start your own tradition.
