If you've ever heard of the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), you know that name is synonymous with big whitetail deer. MCAAP consists of approximately 45,000 acres and is only hunted on a draw basis by longbow or recurve bow only. This hunting structure on MCAAP allows a great percentage of the deer population to fully mature and reach their full genetic potential. Access to the property is from the lightly traveled State Highway 31. A great cabin or camp location is along the west side of the property. The tree-lined road frontage would provide great concealment and privacy from the road. A rural water line also runs along the west edge of the property.
