Dalton is from Altus Oklahoma, where he was raised in a strong ranching and outdoor way of life. From a young age, he was involved in ranching, hunting, and the performance horse indrustry. His background includes hands-on experience with reining, cutting, and team roping. These experiences taught him the vaule and respect of land and livestock. Dalton, then graduated from Oklahoma State University, where he extended his education in land and livestock managment, with a focus on grazing and soil practices.
